Daniel Schorsch graduated from the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture in 1958 and the University of Virginia School of Law in 1982, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law. Mr. Schorsch was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1982. He has been a registered professional engineer in New York since 1966. Mr. Schorsch was the senior editor for Federal Regulation of Family Law and author of Legal System of Israel from William Shein and Co. He is past president and trustee of Temple House of Israel. He is also a past chairman and commissioner for the Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority. He has been a regular lecturer for Virginia Continuing Legal Education seminars on Social Security issues.
